- Any Sunscreen Free Liquid Foundations out there????
- Posted by DahliaLily
I found out that the Bobbi Brown moisture rich liquid foundation contains the
chemical sunscreen octylmethoxycinnimate. Can anyone recommend a very similar
liquid foundation as far as texture and coverage but withouth the sunscreen???
I break out in hives and get stinging from the chemical sunscreen. I prefer
foundation without any sunscreen and then I can mix a few drops of my physical
sunscreen with it.

It's been very easy to remember. I was able to solve a mystery
for the Mom of one of my daughter's friends. Very blonde, blue-
eyed, pale-as-a-ghost child would shriek in agony anytime one of
us tried to put any kind of sunscreen on the poor kid to play in
our pool. I read a few of your posts... things that make you go "Hmmmm...."
Tried my tube of Vanicream (non-chemical sunscreen with micro-
nized zinc or something like that) on her and voila! Happy
child who could actually swim in the day time like other, non-
vampire children. I've remembered every since.
Now this is spooky, because I was 2 pecks away from reccing this
exact, same product. I'll remember this one, too. kayper

I'm looking forward to trying the JI liquid, but I wonder if it'll be
similar to Illuminare.

I have tried their foundation a very long time ago and actually had forgotten
about it. I remember it not causing my skin any trouble but that the coverage
was way thin. their oil free version was too dry though. I will look next
time I'm over to Sephora. Thanks!
