Are they real
Posted by Guy

How can you be sure some of our trolls
are real or an act. Evidence says they are
not real but skilled phony's. Seem to go to great
lengths to create the persona.

Last night I had an unnecessary 911 run. Then
they left me on a dextrose IV for a gross time.
Result was a blood a sugar of about 600.
Then warned to not take insulin for 4 hours.

The internet and the hacks are not important to me
right now.

Since someone failed several times they went a different
route to get into and hacked my virus protection.
That is the reason I do not identify my system.

WE do have some sick SOB here that
tries to get even if the paranoid nut imagines
you are insulting them.

Yes I am a bit paranoid right now but for good
sound reasons. I will participle very little in the
future until the legal remedies are in full swing.

A friend in the ISP business say they are going
to act. It is big bucks and international boundaries
are only a minor inconvenience. I would
suggest much internet activity is logged and
scrutiny has increased greatly since 911.

Nice day but I will have a time getting back under
control. Arrogant ignorance abounds. all over.

Yes, ignorance abounds, but there are still a few places where it has not
reached. One of the brighter spots is in your posts, Guy. So sorry you
had such a bad day. Here's hoping that today is a better one!

I will make an exception in your case. You are very screwy

situation but you insist on disrupting a diabetic
group with no reason. Does not sound normal to
me. I am down on recipe doctors right now but
have no idea why you are here or if you have
any training or can function normally. You are
just a pain in the rear here. Keep it up and make an
ass out of your self. I hAVE more important things
to worry about now due to incompetent people.

Guess you cannot understand or help yourself. Not

You're an idiot who belongs back in third grade with your home spun

" will participle very little in the future until the legal remedies

blah blah blah.

Liar.

No, it is YOU who is the liar.

Guy is one of the kindest and most helpful people here and is well
respected. You only make yourself disliked here by more people when you
speak ill of him.

I'm so sorry that you have had to go through another 911 run and then the
following incompetence. Hope you're doing much better now.

You are part of what keeps me sane and fighting this disease. A couple days
ago I read an awful article in the Wall Street Journal. It talked about
"the powers that be" walking the line between scaring people enough to do
the things they need to to avoid T2 and not depressing the people who
already have DM too much. It stated that if you"ve had T2 for 10 to 15
years you will have awful complications and that it's an awful way to die.

I was so upset that I started to cry. Then I got my senses back and started
thinking about the people on this group and you especially, Guy. Keeping
our BG under control can do so much to avoid problems, but this article did
not mention that at all. It led one to believe that if you developed T2 you
were doomed. That is irrisponsible reporting of the worst kind.

My point is that we all need each other here for support and information.
This group is a valuable resource for all of us. It is very sad that so
many try to ruin it for those who need it.

Haven't you noticed that Mu has been posting a lot less lately since no one

Sue, others of us have had diabetes for years (10 or 12 for me) and haven't any
complications at all. At least, not many.
I've got reasonably good control, could lose some more weight, could exercise
more, and the only problem I've got is some pressure in my eyes - also
controlled.
No lost limbs or other horrors.
So diabetes can be lived with - usually - in comfort. (One of our mantras is
YMMV, i.e., your path and mine may differ).
In fact, many will tell you that having to watch diet and exercise has made
them healthier than pre-diagnosis.
So be of good cheer.
Nan, Type 2 since 1990 or so.

Thanks, Nan. I've been T2 since 4/99 and am doing good so far. But I
appreciate what you said. That's why this group is so good. It helps
debunk a lot of the crap that is written some other places. It is so
reassuring to see others with this disease that are doing well.

Games on the internet played by fools can seem pretty unimportant
when one's life is on the line.

But no one is immortal or invulnerable. They'll still get there's
in the end. And probably squeal the loudest about life being
unfair.

Guy, have you checked your system for infection by the SWEN worm?
One of it's nasty tricks is to disable virus protection and
firewalls like Zone Alarm. The best place to look is in the fixed
files. It can't hide there without being seen.

Take care, and get well soon.

Guy ,

I dont know *why* the 911 would pump a whole-lot of glucose into you ,
it really concerns me A-LOT !

I wonder if it might help by getting and wearing a medical bracelet or
neck chain to avoid that in the future .

The written word is almost always better than spoken .

Mu ,

Just when I thought you was starting to get a little better , you let
me down again ( not that it is possible for you to let me down by much
, with your past history ) . Old habits are hard to break , arent they
mu ?

I hope you have a better attitude tomorrow .

Guy,
Don't let these bastards get ya down....you are worth your weight in
gold, we all appreciate you so much.
The medical professionals always seem to over react and give one much
more gluose than is needed...sometimes I think it is a knee-jerk
reaction....they hate the hypo thing....the problem is that when you are
in the hypo situation, the brain ain't workin' to well, so it is hard
to tell them to stop or whatever you really want to tell them. Do you
always use the same ambulance for the 911 calls, maybe you could tell
them what you want them to do, and how much to give you, BEFORE the
event happens again. I don't know how you system works down there.
It sure is a PITA to have to re-adjust the insulin, food and all the
rest to get oneself back on tract........Please know that I care, and am
keeping you in my prayers....Mic

Always, be, and stay AWARE!
