- Are they real

Guy ,
I dont know *why* the 911 would pump a whole-lot of glucose into you ,
it really concerns me A-LOT !
I wonder if it might help by getting and wearing a medical bracelet or
neck chain to avoid that in the future .
The written word is almost always better than spoken .

Jim, I think this was caused by two things. The IV is standard
and proper during the 911 run. Too much to have to much flexibility
in the procedures.
There was a wait for the standard blood work and the doc was
very busy working on patients from some bar room fight. Said
there was lots of blood this night. Left the IV in until I was
ready to leave.
The medical profession is locked in procedures which seems to
be the best way. Liability lawyers do not help.
A friend lost a leg several years ago because it had obviously
loss of blood flow. The nurses had to wait for the doc to arrive..
I can be difficult to deal with on docs and associated people. I
am loud and blunt. All I have found that works. But to be nice
when you are not faced with an arrogant medical person
Arrogance and stupidity seem to go together. " I know it
all so I don't listen" type.
The reason for the hypo was I was not digesting the food
and it delayed going in. One more problem for a diabetic.
Most Doctors do the best they can. It is not like the PR or
the TV shows. But the revenue is quite high.
