- Religious bashing
- Posted by mrniceguy@serenity.org
Recently there was a thread which degenerated into bashing a particular
religion. I would hope we can avoid that kind of discussion here. There
is no, let me repeat, no particular religion about which flaws and
internal problems and practices can stand close inspection. The religion
one can deduce about at least one of those participating in the bashing
has multiple such problems, a case of pot calling kettle black. Nuff

And yet, here you are starting a whole new thread. What's that about, if
not to inflame?

Actually, I'm a Frisbeeterian. That's right, we worship Frisbees. It's a
great religion (and lots of fun), but it has one serious drawback. When you
die -- your soul gets caught on the roof and you can't get it down.
As to bashing religion. I firmly believe that each person makes their own
choice as to what or whom to believe in -- and as such -- we should respect
that decision.

So, I'm guessing...a day at the park with your

What do you think of my take on the subject:

religion. They do so in spite of it."
