The temp outside can cause dehydration which will cause the BG to go up.
Are you sure you are eating enough? Three small herring and a couple
crackers is not a substantial meal. (By substantial I mean with guidelines
for DM.) You are concerned about continuing to lose weight. The problem
could be you are just not getting enough calories. Have you thought of
adding some healthy fats to your diet? Things like nuts and avocados are
very calories dense and low carb. Some of that in addition to what you are
already eating my help stop the weight loss. Too little weight can be just
as problematic as too much weight.

D' you know something? You have just made me remeber
something odd. I do not remember sweating for a long time.
No realy........the temp today has been very hot - well for
North Yorks - but I have not been sweating as much I have in
the past, when working under such conditions. I wonder if
that has something to do with it. Though I am not aware of
dehydration, I do drink a lot but not because of thirst,
habit really.

I know it isn't - but If I have more my BG goes way up and I
feel really shitty for ages. My stomach is smaller now so I
feel full. I am not hungry afterwards.

I am begining to think that this is part of the problem.

I'll try that - ta!

Sounds daft doesn't it? But actually I think there is
something worth looking deeper into here. With less weight =
less energy used per activity to acheive the same effect =
less glucoes burn = high BG. Not sweating and I ought to
be. I need to discover what role that has in this. However I
have a feeling that the reason for that is that I have very
thin blood at the moment.

When I prick my finger now, there is absolutely no dificulty
in getting a good blob of blood and visually you can see the
difference. It flows like water. It has thinned down quite a
bit. Asprin + Temp = thinner blood than Asprin - Temp.
Thinner blood = blood flow increase = cooling = less sweat
than if thicker.

Thinner Blood - less volume = less glucose getting to
muscles = higher glucose in blood than otherwise. Leading to
feeling shitty and tired.

I think I should loose the asprin and see what happens but I
also am concerned about Metformin. See my next post. Dawn
Effect & Metformin. This may be the reason.

Thank - I will try some of the advice.
