I know two people who have gout. One (now deceased) took a BP med. The
other does not.

His blood pressure has always been normal. In fact, it was normal on Saturday
at that dr. visit.
In doing some internet research last night, there appears to be a connection
between gout and water pills (which he does not take - the only thing he takes
is Glucophage XR, 500 mg 2X a day).
Definitely going to talk to the dr. about the circulation in the fingers as
this was the first time that happened. Appointment is in an hour.

Water pills are diuretics used to treat blood pressure. Interesting to note
