- Health Care's Reality
- Posted on 10-08-2004 | 8 Comments
Not only is our health care system broken, but our democracy is broken. The only way to beat these big money interests is to vote against them. As it stands now, the biggest contributors to the Republican party (next to the oil companies) are the pharmaceutical industry, and the health insurance industry. And that's why our health care costs have skyrocketed, because the very rich and the very powerful have been allowed to gouge us to death. This is happening because the Republicans control...

STEVE BAYT (Parma/Brook Park, Ohio) Original posting failed on Sunday Prologue: As usual I am not trying to convince the usual people who post one-line brain dead comments against my attempts to save the lives of millions of people on Atkins/ Low Carb Death Sentence. My only interest is the responses of Internet readers' doctors and emergency room personnel throughout the country.

Because of the Christian fundy & Republican stranglehold over our country, we are increasingly falling behind in key areas of technology. Because of infrastructure neglect, we have an electric grid that has been described as "3rd world". We are also falling behind in HDTV technology, other countries are beginning to adopt that technology, but we are still lagging behind. Because of the obstinate Republicans who keep cutting the fundings for investments in our big cities, we are also falling...

Bush's Obstructionism August 9, 2004 Poll after poll finds that Americans overwhelmingly support lifting President Bush's constricted stem-cell research policy and renewing the expiring federal assault gun ban. Yet the president's reelection game plan is trumping the desires of most Americans and, apparently, a majority in Congress.

STEVE BAYT (Parma, Brook Park,Ohio) Below is an article that appeared in the July 20,2004 Plain Dealer life section that reports on what I was going to in a few weeks. That is the low carb lethalness(lethality) (if those are actual words), of Atkins and diabetes. Technically I am not claiming authorship and am not making money off my efforts against Atkins and Senate Bill 722 and H.R. 3377. So,
- High Blood Pressure??
- Posted on 08-03-2004 | 4 Comments
Up till recently, I was a active runner, low BMI male. I'm age 38. Over the last 3 years, I have had increasing stress in various areas of my life. Over the past 3 trips to the grocery store, I measured my blood pressure at 140/83, 143/84 and 144/90 at one week intervals at one of those free machine tests. Since I am being worked to death, I haven't been running at all, and my weight has gone from 160 to 190. Do I have high blood pressure?

Are many of the claimed 460,000 sudden cardiac death victims' deaths due to Aspartame? This article suggests they are. http://www.newmediaexplorer.org/sepp/2003/09/26/dropping_like_flies_poisoned_by_aspartame.htm Yet my searches on www.pubmed.com show that there have been many studies done on aspartame, many of them at high doses, eg. 80 times the FDA recommended maximum for a human for 104 weeks on rats (4g/kg for the rats vs. 50mg/kg max for humans), which seemingly no toxic effects. Maybe...

STEVE BAYT (Parma/Brook Park, Ohio) So, this article's research and analysis took much longer than the objective of 48 hours. For now that millions of Americans have been brainwashed by the Atkins Low Carb Death Sentence, it's only a matter of a year or so until the annual 992,000 average American deaths makes AIDS look like a warm-up act to ARDS-Atkins Related Death Syndrome.
- Atkins Related Deaths(ARDS) - 720,000 a year.

Does anyone have any good home remedies to get rid of a yeast infection? I have had one for about 2 weeks now. I have drank cranberry juice like it is going out of style. I have been urinating so much, I am chaffed...using plain cornstarch for that...arrrgghh!! I know that I need to go to the doctor, but I have no insurance and my funds are low. TIA for any suggestions that come/will come my way :) -- Hugs, Gina aka Chill

An on- line primer for *Fat* meat and grease eating American and UK victims. Americans are getting fatter and fatter every year. It is estimated that as many as one in five Americans is obese, a condition defined as being more than 30 percent above the ideal weight based on height. Even more alarming is that fact that obesity rates for children have doubled over the past 20 years, and overweight children are being diagnosed with obesity-related illnesses such as diabetes, sleep apnea and...

I had one half-inch slice, which I remembered to weigh first this time , with a scraping of margarine. It was still quite chewy, not quite as dense, and much drier than the original recipe. Still pretty tasty, although the flavour was a bit different -- can't think how to describe the difference. However, 2 hours pp, my meter said 8.3. :-(

There is no nice way to discuss Xenical. I cannot recommend this drug at all. You must attend to the amount of fat you eat as a regular part of your diet very quickly or you will suffer. The result is disgusting regardless, but it is far worse with a fatty diet. I found that the orange oily poo that left my body bore no relation to anything that had ever left my body before. My first concern was the general disgust I felt with it, followed by the worry that I might never get the stain off...
