Ahhh! A couple of months ago my A1c was 6.7, with 6.5 being the "new norm".
Today, the word is it's 5.5. My highest A1c was 13. Ouch!.

The Amaryl was decreased from 4mg to 2mg in the morning, as of today.

If I were a pup, my name would be Snoopy - and I'd be DAAAAAAANC`IIING!

Another success story!

Well done Steve! I do hope you are giving yourself lots of credit
as well as thanking the group.

It is one thing to get good advice.

It is a totally different thing to follow it. (Or at the very
least, give it a try.)

We KNOW just how hard that can be at times. You have courage,
persistance and determination, and are now reaping the rewards.
Congratulations!!!!!

Now all you have to do, is keep on doing it for the rest of your
life. This is just the beginning of a bright new future.

Annette

Thank you very much, Annette. I don't feel as proud as I did when our
first-born arrived, but close. Kinda like a new life stepped into the world.
(More mush suppressed ;-)

WHAT?? Keep on doing it for the rest of my life!??? All I wanted to do was
get my numbers down to the non-diabetic level, then quit after my diabetes was
"cured". Bwaaahh, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! <grinning so much, my face hurts>.

Ok, ok. I'm just kidding. I know once "smitten" with DM, the "fond memories"
are carried around forever. (I must be feeling better than I thought ;-)
