I saw a TV info-commerical today. The fellow is selling a book entitled:
"Natural Cures: What They Don't Want You To Know" for $30 USD. He has
also established a web site: www.naturalcures.com as a private
subscription arrangement for $10 USD per month.

He stated during the TV info-commerical that there is a "cure" for ADHD.
And because the www.naturalcures.com web site functions on a private
subscription basis, he can use the "cure" word without any hassle from a
government agency. And stated many health problems result from a food
allergy problem or lack of nutritional supplements.

In the case of ADHD, at least, the disclaimer is true. The book does not
describe a natural cure for ADHD. Nor does it refer the reader to a source
for such a cure. In fact it offers no help for ADHD at all. Yes, the book's
author, Kevin Trudeau does state in the infomercial that "Natural remedies
are curing people of cancer, curing people of diabetes, curing people of
depression, curing kids of Attention Deficit Disorder within days", but
neither the infomercial nor his book offer any evidence whatsoever that any
part of that statement is other than pure bullshit. And note that Trudeau
can produce more bullshit than a herd of bulls. He has been prosecuted for
his infomercial lies, selling a raft of bogus products (remember coral
calcium?) and is now prohibited from promoting any products other than
publications.
