Fuel prices not dropping
Posted on 07-03-2003 | 30 Comments

Why aren't fuel prices dropping like expected? There is a web site that shows a graph of fuel prices since 1995. I thought after the war we would see a decrease, but regular gas is up 10 cents a gallon from the same time last year. See it at www.storydata.com

Posted on 07-03-2003 | 2 Comments

The condensation hose on my Honda Accord is plugged and the condensate is getting the carpet wet on the floor. I tried running a coat hanger up in the hose to unplug it, but it is too stiff. What do you guys use to clean this out? Thanks. Tom

brake fluid bleeding sequence
Posted on 07-01-2003 | 1 Comments

Is it correct to say the brake fluid bleeding sequence is: first the wheel the farthest from the master cylinder, and the last wheel the closest? That would put in sequence: 1- rear right 2- rear left 3- front right 4- front left Is the procedure the same with/without ABS ?

speed detectors

Hi, As you know police uses some camera to detect the speed of cars and then will fine the driver if he drives faster than the speed limit. In my country this car limit is 95 Km/h and I think this figure is like a joke.Do you know of any method to counteract their cameras when driving? Surena.

KIA Sorento hell!!!

Looks to this reader that you alone caused the crash right? and you alone had the non-Kia remote starter installed right? Are you trying to imply that the Kia motor company and the named Kia dealers owes you something? If so I think you need to do some real soul searching and think again. ronm Calculon wrote:

You should write a book. The title should be; 'How I screwed up my life and a perfectly good vehicle.' Wait, you just did that, never mind. ;) mike hunt Calculon wrote:

Front Rotor Removal on 2000 Pontiac
Posted on 06-27-2003 | 2 Comments

I thought it would be pretty easy to change the brakes on my 2000 Grand Prix, but had trouble getting the rotor off to get it turned. I got the pads out, but couldn't figure out exactly how to get the rotor off. It was still held in place by the outer frame of the brake caliper. The bolts were pretty tight and I didn't want to force anything. Any help? Thanks...

carbon clean up....???
Posted on 06-26-2003 | 1 Comments

I just noticed this at my mechanics the other day.. He was busy so I didn't bug him about it.. apparently good for older cars and it cleans the carbon from the system and increases gas mileage. My 87 dodge.. hey.. shut up, it's been good to me.. has 120,000 miles on it.. and the gas mileage has dropped a bit in the last year.. I'm not getting 32 on the highway anymore.. more like 22!

I have cunks of something in my Radiator? Mini van
Posted on 06-26-2003 | 3 Comments

I have a Montana 2000 which I bought at an auction a year ago. I notice I was low on coolant in the reservoir. Then I opened the rad cap and it is full, but it has some kind of chunks floating in the coolant. There is a warning on the reservoir not to fill it with just any type of coolant. Can I add a bit or regular green/ yellow coolant or even some water? Any reason why I would want to flush the system. I have been told that the chucks could mean the rad had a leak before and...

I think you have to define "fascist" as opposed to "liberator." Ghandi was a liberator. Any group (e.g. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PLO) that abuses men, women and children (no less) as suicide bombers .. . kamikazi-style, Tojo-style, Bushido-style .. . is fascistic. What's your definition of fascism?! "jmpeattie" <jmpeattie@earthlinknospam.net> wrote in message news:PB0Ka.5917$iG6.3749506@news3.news.adelphia.net...
