Have it SERVICED.
Recover the old R134. evacuate, recharge with the correct amount of R134.
If its cold then the system is fine and a leak is possible.
It could be a small leak so have a shot of fluorescent dye shot into the
system and in a month have it checked with a UV light.

: The air conditioning on my Tahoe went out about a month ago. The
: compressor engages, the fan blows, but it doesn't cool. I put my hand
: on the low side line and it is luke warm. My thought was that it was
: low on R134a. The low side pressure seems high to me but I can't seem
: to find what the pressure should be. I bought a Chilton's manual but
: of course it says nothing about a/c except to take it to a mechanic.
: I can't find a mechanic that will tell me over the phone what the
: pressure should be. Does anyone know what pressure the low side
: should read (while running)? Any other advice?
