- Thoughs on La Mer body lotion?
- Posted by Aerogasm1
I am thinking about purchasing the pricey La Mer body *lotion* (not the serum)
during the NM Incircle Event. Is this worth the $195 for the 13 oz. size? I am
on a body lotions/potions kick right now.
TIA,
Amy

I have it because it was part of the La Mer dry to normal kit I ordered last
spring.
It is a very nice lotion but definitely not worth that price.

Definitely not worth the money, and one of the less spectacular items in
their lineup. If you're looking for a pricey body lotion, I would check out
Chantecaille's Retinol Body Cream, Natura Bisse Diamond Body Cream, or even
Origins Perfect World Body Lotion (not that pricey, but works great).

It's one of the most moisturizing lotion I've found w/o being sticky.
Another is Sisley Fluid Body. Both are priced about the same. Are they
worth the money? Prob not, but they are incomparable as far as what
else is out there. The La Mer also comes in a large 16 oz. size for
$199 which saves some money if you find you can't do without it.

I just got this as a gift. DOn't waste your money, it is less than an
ordinary moisturizer. I will even dare say Jergens is ten times
better.

I've bought both Chantcaille's retinol body lotion and hand cream.
Both are very watery and thin, not to mention they do nothing of what
they claim.

Try the DeCleor vitaroma anti-ageing body cream.
