carpal tunnel syndrome

I'll be having some carpal tunnel surgery performed but there is a long wait and it will probably be at least 8 months until the procedure is performed. Is there anything in particular I can do to alleviate the pain? It becomes very problematic when I sleep as the cramps often awakens me. Any suggestions will be sorely appreciated.

Psoriatic arthropathy and tendons
Posted on 03-05-2004 | 1 Comments

Hi - First time posting here. My partner (female) is looking for anyone who also has psoriatic arthropathy (the form of psoriasis that goes into the joints, producing a sort of arthritis) and tendon involvement. She discovered only relatively recently that pain from the tendons is a serious part of the condition too, and would like to be in touch with anyone else in this boat, and talk about experience, remedies etc. Cheers!

Our mission is to help as many people in our society live as long as they can so they can fully enjoy their retirement years. After all, aren’t we all working daily towards this common goal? What type of arthritis?
Posted on 03-05-2004 | 4 Comments

Last spring I was diagnosed with having arthritis. This was kind of surprising to me since I turned 30 last year. Like a lot of people I had always associated arthritis with older people. My doctor didn't actually tell me what type of arthritis I have. He xrayed my knee and told me that it was inflammed. Is the inflammation associated with both osteoartritis and rhemotoid arthritis? If so, how can I tell which one that I have? I went to the a few years ago for soreness in my left hand and...

Do not suffer the devastating effects of antibiotics
Posted on 03-02-2004 | 2 Comments

Athritis symptoms? Joint pains? Kidney problems? General malaise? We know why! Before you again consider taking antibiotics, try using Waterfall D-Mannose to clear up and prevent bladder infections and cystitis, because a lot of men and women are still unnecessarily suffering from the effects of antibiotics, and their sometimes deadly side-effects, particularly with broad-spectrum antibiotics. Fluoroquinolene based antibiotics are particularly dangerous. You can read more abut the subject...

Low Cost Healthcare And Retirement
Posted on 02-23-2004 | 11 Comments

What if we send all unproductive retirees to 3rd world countries where caregiver salaries are cheaper and climates are more favorable to rheumatism? Rich countries will then save money from pension and healthcare costs. Unproductive retirees will be sent to central africa, central america, and south east asia, (near the equator/tropics ideal climates for rheumatism). And those countries will benefit too by earning income. Healthcare costs will skyrocket soon because retiring baby boomers...
