I've been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis, and have been taking Methotrexate for about 3 years now. Does anybody have any information regarding the body's ability to process 1500mg of Glucosamine in one tablet, as oppossed to 500mg tablets taken three times daily? I know with Vitamin C, the body can only process so much and then urinates out the rest of it. Does this apply to Glucosamine? I would rather take one tablet daily given the option. Yesterday, I went to see my doctor because the Vioxx that I had been taking was not working. Anyhow he put me on Tramadol (Ultram) and Naproxen Sodium. I'll be having some carpal tunnel surgery performed but there is a long wait and it will probably be at least 8 months until the procedure is performed.
