- man converts eggshells and membranes into calcium and arthritis supplements
- Posted on 10-10-2004 | 3 Comments
CARTHAGE, Mo. — Hollis Osborne has worked with chickens for more than five decades, and he still wonders how a hen is able to convert dietary calcium into membrane-lined eggshells. Osborne may not know how they come to be, but he has worked with scientists to determine that the shell and its membrane lining can be used to make a calcium supplement as well as a pain relief supplement for those with joint and connective-tissue conditions. "I know more about the membrane in an egg than when we...

Please Remember there are companies who produce genuine medicines and some make non genuine medicines also around the world irrespective of system. It is true that some companies in North India prepare medicines using heavy metals. If heavy metals are not prepared properly as explained in the proceedure, it can do harm to the body. This happens when the companies focus on their revenue but not on quality. There are several very old traditionals herbal medicine manufactures

I have a pain around both sides of my achilles tendon. I noticed it at work first. It gradualy got worse during my shift and when I was walking home, became very severe. I did not fall or lose balance or do anything to cause this. (About a month ago, I also started having pain in my left knee for no apparent reason. It went away in about half a day, however, and was not as disabling as what I have now). I could not sleep last night and had to take aspirins to relieve the pain. In the morning,...

There have been confirmed reports (<http://www.cdc.gov/MMWR/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5326a3.htm>) of certain Ayurvedic preparations imported from India that have cause serious health problems. These medications are being manufactured in India and imported in USA. They are being consumed without proper medical advice or quality control. Such importation should be banned by the respective governments. There is now increased interest in importing other types of Ayurvedic medications under the guise of...
- Early rumblings that Celebrex might be "Vioxx risky"
- Posted on 10-07-2004 | 2 Comments
I just heard this during a radio news break. There is a real question about the heart and brain safety of Celebrex and Bextra. Since both use a very similar pathway, there is concern among researchers that Celebrex and Bextra might also increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. Celebrex and Bextra: two more reasons for arthritis sufferers to explore natural topicals and natural supplements.
- Yesterday, a customer bought six bottles of a pain relief lotion
- Posted on 10-07-2004 | 1 Comments
He did the same thing last month. He swears by it. He has arthritis. Each month he pays for a product. He must buy it because it is a worthless scam. It must not work for him. That's why he pays good money -- he wants to be taken, month after month. What a fool he is to believe his pain is relieved. He's been fooled so many times! He repeatedly thinks his pain is gone, day after day and

Heh heh. Merck deserves kudos for today's actions. They could have fought it and pulled in billions more. On a related subject, I wish I could recall where I read that Celebrex actually causes increased inflammation while it reduces pain. In six-month studies, Celebrex reduces arthtritis pain. But due to the increased inflammation, one-year studies show pain returns or increases.

Please note, this is not advertising. Nor is it Spam. I do not want to sell you anything.

I don't know if any of you guys will be able to help me on this one because a lot of the details I have are quite... non detailled. My aunt is 63 & until a couple of years ago was very active. Due to chronic pain she has eventually been diagnosed as having athritis, I don't really know any more about the diagnosis than this.
