Hi all, This I believe is my first time posting in this / these newsgroups(s). Ever since about 1990 or 1991 I have had lower back pain at times and at times very severe. I have also had what I thought was just the aging process at age 28 at the time...I am now 35, white male live in Pennsylvania, USA. I am obese at 315lbs. Just below my knees almost my shin would hurt and have gotten worse over time. I have been told by doctors that would just look at them that I either had Patellar...

Someone here last year helped me a lot by guessing that the "bubbles" on my end knuckles were the Ganglion Cyst complications of OA, (and they were right). I tried about everything short of drugs and surgery to manage them over the last 7 years. All the hyped joint supplements didn't seem to phase the condition. Recently, I tried soaking them in hot water mixed w/ apple cider vinegar. This seemed, by far, to be the best topical relief I've found (but drinking ACV didn't seem to make any...

Oxidatively modified autoantigens in autoimmune diseases. Kurien BT, Hensley K, Bachmann M, Scofield RH Free Radic Biol Med. 2006 Aug 15; 41(4): 549-56 Free radical-mediated oxidative damage and consequent protein modification by the end products of oxidative damage are important mediators of cell toxicity and disease pathogenesis. Aldehydic products, mainly the 4-hydroxy-2-alkenals, form adducts with proteins and make them highly immunogenic. Oxidative modification of proteins has been shown...

I have a question or two, I was on Vioxx, excellent for the pain, but likely to kill you, Celebrex, not as good as relieving the pain, but off the market, Bextra didn't work at all for me. So now according to my physician, I have two choices, Naxopren, 500mgs twice a day, or Ibuprofen, 800 mgs 3 times a day, I found out that Ibuprofen helps me more, with only two per day... But my question is which one of the two is safer, if taking for a long time, I have severe osteoarthritis in both hips.

Back from Africa, where I was a secular missionary in the Kayon Ghozi's leprosary (Burundi) because of health reasons, I wrote these lucky Flashes of mine, which got a resounding success ,on Turin's HOLY SHROUD. Prof. Harry Gove, which made the Holy Shroud date back to the middle-ages in 1988 by the method 14C, already in 1995, in the light on the latest scientific knowledge, realised that the dating was wrong .. The Mystery of the Holy Shroud print, which couldn't be made by men at all, must...
