- That Jerry Lewis inplant thing for pain
- Posted by greenknees
I have seen Jerry Lewis a few times on TV promoting that electrical
device for pain relief. I should think that thing would work for any
pain. I certianly would be open to that treatment for pain rather than
the side effects of RA meds. Anyone here tried this?

Hi Teresa, I had a neighbor that used this and since then has had two
serious back operations. You have to understand that all this does is numb
the nerves which allows you to do things that may be making your back worse
and in his case,,,, much worse.
If a person for some reason was unable to let today's medicine handle
their problem and they restricted their activities so as to not cause more
damage,,,,,,, pain relief is pain relief and people have to make their
choices.
If you have RA, I hope you are seeing a Rheumatologist. I would also
hope that you have discussed this with her/him.
IMO

So your friend can do things now he couldn't do with that pain? Or he
is numb and cannot because of that inplant thing?
I am mostly imobile. Imobilitly without pain is my second choice.
RA meds are just too risky for me because of heart and blood perssure
trouble.
Yes, I do regularly see a Rheumatologist.
