Inflammatory Nanoparticles Discovered In Joint Fluid of Arthritis
Patients, Based On Methods Pioneered by Nanobac Pharmaceuticals'
Scientists

BIOWIRE
Nanobac Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:NNBP) ("Nanobac" or "the Company")
today announced that Inflammatory nanoparticles that produce calcified
deposits like those found in arthritic joints have been cultured from
the synovial fluid of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis patients
by Japanese researchers, as reported in the Journal of Proteome
Research.
"This is the first report to indicate that human synovial fluids
contain Nanobacteria-like particles," the study notes.
The study, Nanobacteria-Like Particles in Human Arthritic Synovial
Fluids, by T. Tsurumoto, T. Matsumoto, A. Yonekura, and H. Shindo,
Department of Orthopaedics, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences,
Nagasaki University, supports the existence and pathogenic role of
nanobacteria-like particles found in human diseases such as heart,
prostate and kidney disease by Mayo Clinic and other researchers.
In a two year experiment, calcifying nanoparticles were cultured from
the joint fluid of each participating patient, demonstrating that 100
percent of patients had the particles.
The experiment was based on methods pioneered by Nanobac Scientists,
Drs. Neva Ciftcioglu and Olavi Kajander.
"After about 2 months of culture, nanoparticles appeared in the
synovial fluids from all the patients to greater or lesser degrees,"
the study found. "These nanoparticles gradually increased in number and
in size."
Medical researchers have often theorized about the presence of a
calcifying agent that generates associated painful inflammation in
arthritis, but until now had never found one.
Nanobacteria produce a calcium phosphate material known as
calcification, which is shown in many studies, and cited in the Merck
Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy, as provoking inflammation.
"If self-proliferating nanoparticles exist in mammalian synovial fluids
and membranes, then they may have an effect on many joint diseases,"
the study's authors concluded.
"This is another example of independent researchers finding
nanobacteria in patients with a specific disease condition," said
Nanobac Co-Chairman Dr. Benedict Maniscalco, Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology (FACC).
"It shows the value of our research, which is the only work to explain
how calcification occurs in diseases afflicting most of the aging
population," Dr. Maniscalco added.
The findings come on the heels of a paper published in the World
Journal of Urology by Cleveland Clinic researcher Dr. Daniel Shoskes
and Dr. Hadley M. Wood, which concluded that nanobacteria-like
particles may play a ubiquitous role in prostate disease.
Another independent paper published earlier this year in the journal
Urology Research by Khullar et al reports induction of renal
calcification by nanobacteria.
Disclosure statement: Nanobac Pharmaceuticals did not fund the
arthritis or Khullar studies, so the findings are independent.

This is merely a re-post of a press release regarding important new
research results of interest to those with arthritis. Your cursing is
certainly unwarranted, ill-advised and is clearly not allowed by
charter. Maybe you should not come back to this newsgroup unless you
have something of value or interest to post to the group.

which will provide no help for arthritis sufferers for years (if ever).
Your posts appear the work of a bored juvenile with little to do except
explore arcane and peripheral scienctific work.

Dear Bud,
Don't you agree that studies showing the possibility of arthritis being
caused by an infectious agent is an important finding? Are you
interested in arthritis research or do you, like Harv, just use this
venue as a place to interact socially?

The infectious etiology concept has been around since I entered medical
school many years ago and I am interested in arthritis research but from
a practically useful viewpoint and not for something that *might* be
developed in a few decades. And what is your purpose in posting
'material' which has repeatedly drawn adverse opinions and comment? Do
you just enjoy Trolling? That's how it appears to many of us. Social? I
don't have time for 'social'. Arthritis sufferers are more concerned
with what might be available to help them (maybe!) and not their
grandchildren or great-grandchildren.

Well then Bud, you should spend a little more time educating yourself
about what causes pathological calcification in humans. I know for a
fact that your school did not teach you WHY joints calcify in neutral
pH in the absence of high calcium levels in the synovium, or why
calcium "grows" upon itself at the rate of 44% per annum in the
intimal-medial space of blood vessels while "locked down" under
cholesterol in the lumen at neutral pH and un-saturated CA++
levels......there is only ONE explanation to the researchers at Mayo,
NASA, Cleveland Clinic and many other prestigious research
institutions......it is Nanobacteria. Read more before you voice a loud
opinion from a position of ignorance. If you are a physician as you
say, you should know better. There are already tests for Nanobacteria
as well as therapeuticas that have been shown to be effectiuve in IRB
monitored clinical trials AND published in lofty medical
journals.......remember that prions and viruses are not "alive" in the
truest sense of microbiological definitions, yet they kill us slowly
and completely. Also remember how long it took to get surgeons to stop
doing the Bilroth I & II procedures when the cause of durodenal ulcers
was an infectious organism called H. Pylori. Wake up and read Bud.
You're supposed to be a "Docere" a teacher.....

Hayyyyyy, don't get me involved. You both make good points and what is
taking place in research is important although down the road. It is a
little heart breaking for people that the new medicines come to late to save
their broken body's and then its all about stainless steel or ceramic
replacement parts.
The thing is that what helps one person does nothing for someone else
which makes a Rheumatologists job one of the most frustrating jobs in the
world other than policemen which are the top of that list.................

Hhhhm, I have read many times from people that antibiotic treatments have
helped much like yourself. I have also read too many times how iron is the
cause of all our problems with just as much dedication as you have with your
nanos.
What good does you supplying all this good information if how
you do it drives people away from accepting it????? The people you are
talking to are not the ones that will make big changes in tomorrow for our
children but THEY ARE the ones that will have to change their life to live
with the over 170 types of arthritis. Some of those types attack children
so it is not just about us getting older and it could be about nanoes
whatever...... It is about tomorrow but do not forget to live today as best
you can with what we all have and that should be why we come together to
talk about it.

Total BS! I see it is useless to further correspond with your so highly
educated opinion so I won't feed the troll any farther.

Please keep in mind that what you have said about others that post in this
newsgroup is only your opinion. If you are going to semi-insult people
that do not believe your information 100% ,,,,, you prove your ignorance
about people and loooose your case before the people that read this
newsgroup. You should be smarter than that orrrrrr maybe your just another
troll and Bud is wayyy smarter than the average person by stopping the on
and on you seem to enjoy.

Dear Bud & Harv,
I will refrain from duelling with the two of you on semantics, but I
will keep you up to date of any new & relevant research information
pertaining to arthritis & calcium deposition. I'm just trying to let
you know that there is light on the horizon, just can't predict the
exact time of sunrise though.....have a good one.
