Chinese drug helped my arthritis
Posted by Walter Hess

I had what appeared to be arthritis some 12 years ago when I was 40. I
heard enough horror stories about allopathic medicine approach and I
did not even bother to seek help there. One acquiantance told me about
how he cured his arthritis - through steady, prolonged impact on his
finger bones, that's where he had it. He was doing push-ups on his
fists, as well as doing prolonged impact routines on other parts of
his hands - back side of his hand, tips of fingers, mid parts of
fingers. His theory was that since arthritis is an autoimmune disease,
keeping your body "occupied" with a moderate "damage" to the bones
would direct the autoimmune response to mending the effects of the
impact on his bones, induced this way. It helped him and it helped me.
In my case the cure was nothing, but magical - all symptoms were gone
in a week. Soon I forgot about that experience with arthritis (if
that's indeed what it was)
Recently I had another bout of what appeared to be arthritis - a
single joint in my little finger got inflamed and it was pretty
painful, within a couple of months there was a visible deformity in
that joint. Surprisingly - just one, on one hand.
I tried the prolonged, steady impact on hard surface again, but it
helped only slightly and only after lots and lots of push-ups and
other exercises.
I tried various essential oils with no results, I tried glucosamine
sulfate - no results. But then I went to a Chinese herbal store and
asked if they can recommend something. They gave me a small jar of
pills and I started taking them. That soon produced a perceptible
relief, inflammation was practically gone and the only pain that
remains is from a deformed joint, it gives me some discomfort when I
bend that finger. I wish I tried it right away, before the deformity
in the joint has appeared.
Here is transliteration of that drug's name, as printed on the
package:
"Guanjie Zhengtong Ling"
The price - just under three dollars US for some 60 or 90 pills.
The pills are sugar-coated, since I do not take sugar in any form
except natural (fruits/berries), I rinse those pills in a glass of
water to wash away the coating before swallowing.
