- can I please get an opinion on this?

Hi folks
I have a sincere question to ask and hope I don't get
flamed for it.
I am a web designer by trade and am working on a site for a client who
holds a patent on an exercise unit that is being marketed as both a
low impact exercise therapy for arthritic patients and a non surgical
alternative to breast augmentation (hard to explain w/o you having
seen the product photos).
Please understand that this is NOT an attempt to sales-pitch the
product to you.
There are currently 3 versions of the site's homepage and the owner
and I are somewhat at odds as to which one is more effective in terms
of layout, sales copy, and overall visitor appeal.
Now IF you were in the market for such a product, which of the
following three pages do you feel is more compelling in terms of
sales:
http://www.b-tone.com/index.html
http://www.b-tone.com/indexa.html
http://www.b-tone.com/indexb.html
If you could please just take a few moments to look at these three
pages and either post your opinion here or email it to me at:
cturcote@cfl.rr.com
I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you very much,
Cynthia Turcotte

Mr. Stone,
I resent the implications of your response. Advertising in this
newsgroup was NEVER my intent. If it was, I assure you that I would
have been very straight forward about it.
I stated VERY clearly in my initial message that the purpose of my
post was to garner OPINIONS as to which version of a page was more
effective and better received by visitors to the site.
I understand the need to moderate these newsgroups and keep
advertisers from spamming newsgroups. Indeed, I despise spam myself
and do not resort to it -- either on my behalf OR my clients.
No doubt because of all of the spam that gets posted to newsgroups,
the knee jerk reaction is to disbelieve a post such as mine, but in
this case you leapt to an extremely false conclusion.
Regards,
Cynthia Turcotte

If you had no intent to advertise, you could have removed the
link to order. As it was presented, your post was nothing more
than a flagrant advertisement.
Sure looks like the work is completed and begging for orders.
Even has customer testimonials. I'd say your so-called client
has more than a patent.....he's already gone into production
and is selling it. Right? After all, how can you solicite those
testimonials if the product isn't being manufactured already.
Funny, but there was NOTHING that mentioned arthritis.

Right! Roadrunner probably won't be happy hearing about how
you violated the charter of this group.

Please let me say again that you could of asked for information or
opinions about the sites we used without posting yours in this newsgroup
and if you do not bring it back again,,,,, mission accomplished.

Are you new to the internet?
I hope you have learned about the subject from this because it is not
the fault of the people who pay you to make sites for them.
