We are now divulging , here in Brazil, the result of our work with the
purpose to revel the botanical origin and chemical composition of RED
PROPOLIS OF ALAGOAS, carried out for a technical skill with leadership
by professor. dr. PhD Severino Matias de Alencar , professor Dr.
Masharu Ikegaki and professor Dr. Pedro L. Rosalem, while we are
waiting for appreciation and international publication at scientific
magazine Journal of the Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Certainly, to go ahead with local apicultural activity, the botanical
origin presents vital importance, as we can do a great advance in
productivity towards rational production of RED PROPOLIS OF ALAGOAS.
In this way, we are avoiding which other information can be interpreted
as a pioneer in this matter and guarantying that all our work and
efforts to development of local apiculture, can be done legitimize
through the results of this research was supported for us, including
field research , herbarium research and monitoring bees process in
different apiaries at same region.
We are very pleased to inform to National apicultural community our
results and keep between the researches mentioned above and also the
Alagoas beekeepers involved, the right direction, the execution and the
results that we already have on our hands months ago, awaiting for
scientific publication.
We would like to inform the botanical origin of Alagoas Red Propolis
is a leguminosae plant as follows :
Family : Leguminosae
Scietific name : Dalbergia ecastophyllum.
All this data is certainly already assured by using techniques of
CG-MS, HPLC, and spectrophotometer at UV -visible region, beyond
others, that we point out, will be very soon published in recognized
scientific magazine.
Why cannot wait for international publication? Because we have the
information since months ago , because the market cannot wait, because
taking full advantage people , stand by opportunists cannot wait and
seams that sometimes here in Brazil do not exist the guarantee of
knowledge between universities and their researches, even when one
paper are being submitted to evaluation and foreign publication. We
cannot leave that all our efforts for years become secondary , facing
another possible not clear interests that is not our objective to
judge. Towards this direction, we understood, that our discovery and
technical evidences, is so important here, among Brazilian beekeepers
and Bee National Entities as for scientific international community.
We disclose the results of our efforts and hard work together with the
doctors from Nutrition Food and Agro industry Department of Superior
School of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz, from São Paulo University,
Piracicaba University of Odontology, Campinas Estadual University and
Pharmacy Department of Federal University of Alfenas, for your best
reference.
