Mr Wouk is not only breaking the law, he is posting off-topic, and he
is posting great numbers of such messages. This falls under the
definition of SPAM.

He labors under the delusion that he owns the group and therefore
is somehow above both its rules and the law. Numbers of offensive
emails sent by him have also been collected and are available to the
proper authorities.

Harvey claims (falsely) that A W "knows about different kinds of
medicine and treatment" - to that I say BS! How can he USE and
evaluate all of these NEW medicines and treatments? the fact is

If anyone has any doubt or question about the veracity, lucidity
or sanity of Arthur C. Wouk I ask you to see the message to which
this is appended.

On a previous occasion Arthur C. Wouk, and his gang, sent over
600 message a day for nearly a week to my "RAIN" system address
which caused it to collapse. That system was run by a number of
volunteers who were utterly incapable of dealing with this kind of
Internet terrorism. Al of this was caused by my posting a seven line
announcement offering "free information" regarding our retirement
planning product "Set For Life(tm)."

I have been a legitimate, long standing educational materials and
software producer for 36 years for all of the major publishers in the
business. Never have I incurred the insults, invectives or abuse of
the likes of Arthur C. Wouk and seen it lauded because of a bizarre
set of ideas held on the part of some of its participants. If what
goes on here is a measure of the state of our country then we are in
much more trouble than I would ever have imagined.

I can only urge that as many of you as possible send messages to the
addresses Arthur C. Wouk has here cited telling them that you do not
endorse his brand of Internet fascism.

Even if the newsgroup charter did not forbid advertising it would still
be against newsgroup rules. Commercial ads are only allowed in groups
that were created specifically for them like rec.outdoors.marketplace or
some of the misc. or biz hierarchy.
