- People are complimenting me on my skin!

Wow, I can't believe this. I've been on Klear Action and Pantethine for
little over a week now, and I think it's mainly the Klear Action that's done
it, but people have started complimenting me!
First my girlfriend saw me after a few day's apart and said, "You're face
looks really buff!". Then I was with friends and one of them looked at me,
did a double-take, and said, "What've you had done?! You look younger!",
then everyone else went, "Yeah!".

Hey, same thing is happening to me (also using Klear Action), just today
another co-worker told me that my skin is looking great, she used the term
vibrant.
I can't say enough good things about this product. I use an additional
moisturizer, even though I have very oily skin.

But Kita the kit is only $19.99 at Walmart and 24.95 online, that's not too
damaging as crazy purchases go

I've been itching to try that out, too. Does the cleanser feel just like
ProActiv in terms of how rough/gentle the exfoliation particles are?

Pantethine and pantothenic acid are both forms of B5, but pantethine is
further along the Co-A pathway. The leung studies were done with 10g of
pantothenic acid. Pantethine users take 900mg. They are different (but
similiar) supplements.

Cleanser is much more gentle than Carley's, the scrubber are round with no
rough edges

Kita, what are these "tumour concerns" you speak of re BPO?

BPO was found to cause a 325% increase in cumulative carcinomas in a few
studies done on *mice*. AFAIK, to date, this correlation hasn't been
proven in *humans*.
Also, including Vitamin E in the formula *may* minimize the damage (see
quotes below)
It's not confirmed, just something that doesn't make me comfortable
using every single day for the next 30 years. Ymmv and all that.
Example of one of the studies:

Enhanced malignant progression of mouse skin tumors by the free-radical
generator benzoyl peroxide
JF O'Connell, AJ Klein-Szanto, DM DiGiovanni, JW Fries and TJ Slaga
Chemical carcinogenesis in mouse skin can be divided into the processes
of initiation, promotion, and progression. The free-radical generator
benzoyl peroxide is moderately active during the promotion stage.
Repetitive treatment of mouse benign skin tumors (papillomas) with
benzoyl peroxide (20 mg, twice weekly) increased the number of
cumulative carcinomas per group by 325% and the number of
keratoacanthomas by 44% compared to tumor-bearing Sencar mice treated
with the promoter 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate. The lack of
increase in the number of cumulative papillomas per group due to benzoyl
peroxide treatment suggests that benzoyl peroxide enhanced the
progression of preexisting papillomas. The ability of benzoyl peroxide
to enhance the progression of benign tumors to cancer should be
considered when determining the human risk from exposure to this widely
used chemical agent; in addition, biological assays specifically testing
malignant progression may be essential and beneficial for determining an
agent's carcinogenic risk. "

"Vitamin E
Animal studies show that benzoyl peroxide promotes tumor growth, yet the
significance of this finding in humans is unknown. A test tube study
showed that when exposed to vitamin E, human skin cells were more
resistant to damage caused by benzoyl peroxide.1 Controlled research is
needed to determine whether use of benzoyl peroxide products by humans
promotes tumor growth and whether vitamin E might prevent this damage."

Does Pro-activ/Klear Action contain Vitamin E? I can't see it in the
ingredients but I don't know what I'm looking for!
