Posted on 02-02-2007 | 1 Comments

Low-dose Accutane, Self-Prescribing ( Long )
Posted on 10-24-2006 | 8 Comments

Hello I was a very regular poster on this group for quite a while, but drifted away as the posts became very repetitive, which is hardly surprising. Having received an email from a current poster regarding low-dose Accutane, and its availability through online pharmacies, I thought it best to reply through here. I would think that I have the most Accutane experience of just about anyone. Three full-dose courses over ten years and low-dose for the last five years,

Acne help needed please.

First let me tell you some stuff about my history. I think it was in 2002 when I was prescribed Roaccutane, which worked great. In 2003 I started to get breakouts again so I went on the old wash at night with Panoxyl wash and then use Acnegel 10 twice a day. This worked ok until I noticed that my breakouts were becoming harder to control. I went back to my GP who tried me on various things - Benzamycin and then Dalacin T. Neither of these worked so he referred me to a dermatologist about a...

Posted on 10-13-2006 | 8 Comments

Hello, I need some help for anyone who can offer it. I'm 29 -- will be 30 in September -- and I've had a resurgence of acne in the last three years. It is somewhat worse than it was when I was in high school in that it is not only on my face but on my back, chest and somewhat on my shoulder. Currently, I only use Proactiv, but that does not seem to do to much

Low dose accutane
Posted on 05-02-2006 | 10 Comments

Accutane dose is usually 0.5 to 2mg per kilo of your body weight, but there have been some studies looking at the effectiveness of low dose regimes, such as just taking 20mg once daily for 6 months. Has anyone had any experience of low dose treatment? Cheers James

Cure Acne Forever

I've suffered from acne in the past and I have tried both Accutane and Retin-A with little to no luck. I've even tried the mock-off Walmart imitation products with limitted results. I discovered ProActiv about a year ago and it is working wonders (even on my shoulders)! I highly recommend it! Matty http://www.CureAcneForever.com

Fluoride Skin Absorption

http://www.fluoridealert.org/faqs.htm#Q8 Question #8: If I take a shower with fluoridated water, will the fluoride enter through my skin? FAN has yet to see any direct evidence to verify this concern. If you are aware of any such evidence, please let us know. It is important to keep in mind, however, that the extent to which fluoride makes its way through the skin depends to a large extent on the acidity of the water. It is clear, for instance, that fluoride in highly acidic water

TONER and ACNE-prone skin

Is it something that really should be part of one's skincare regimen? If so, what is the best toner to use for acne-prone skin? I easily react to alcohol so it has to be one that's alcohol-FREE. Thanks in advance, GV

side effects on accutane on ultra oily skin ppl
Posted on 02-26-2005 | 10 Comments

I am thinking of starting on accutane. I get large cysts and the rate of 2 per month for years now. I have been on and off antibiotics many times. But the scarring made me sick and wanted to try one last time with the best which sounds like accutane. I did a lot of reading in the net about the side effects and ignoring the depression and other stuff, which I am anyway I was wondering about dryness. Now I have EXTREMELY oily skin, even if I wash my face every hour, I
