At Home Scar treatments
Posted on 09-26-2007 | 1 Comments

Hi , I'm looking around for the best at-home kit to treat light acne scars. I'm just hoping to diminish the appearance somewhat, until I can actually get professional treatment such as laser, dermabrasion, etc.. These sebaceous glands are situated just below the surface of the skin. Sebaceous glands continuously produce and secrete oil through the...

Five Biggest Myths About Clearing Acne And Reducing Wrinkling
Posted on 07-03-2007 | 1 Comments

1.There are medical treatments that can cure your acne. The Truth: It's scientifically known that medication can't cure acne. TheTruth: Scientific studies disprove this with the exception of Retin- A (which is expensive and causes other skin aggravations). 3.A certain type of food causes acne. The Truth: While eating nothing but doughnuts will not help your mission to develop...

Posted on 02-02-2007 | 1 Comments

Low-dose Accutane, Self-Prescribing ( Long )
Posted on 10-25-2006 | 8 Comments

Hello I was a very regular poster on this group for quite a while, but drifted away as the posts became very repetitive, which is hardly surprising. Having received an email from a current poster regarding low-dose Accutane, and its availability through online pharmacies, I thought it best to reply through here. I would think that I have the most Accutane experience of just about anyone. Three full-dose courses over ten years and low-dose for the last five years,

Acne help needed please.
Posted on 10-13-2006 | 16 Comments

First let me tell you some stuff about my history. I think it was in 2002 when I was prescribed Roaccutane, which worked great. In 2003 I started to get breakouts again so I went on the old wash at night with Panoxyl wash and then use Acnegel 10 twice a day. This worked ok until I noticed that my breakouts were becoming harder to control. I went back to my GP who tried me on various things - Benzamycin and then Dalacin T. Neither of these worked so he referred me to a dermatologist about a...

Currently, I only use Proactiv, but that does not seem to do to much

Low dose accutane
Posted on 05-02-2006 | 10 Comments

Accutane dose is usually 0.5 to 2mg per kilo of your body weight, but there have been some studies looking at the effectiveness of low dose regimes, such as just taking 20mg once daily for 6 months. Has anyone had any experience of low dose treatment? Cheers James

Cure Acne Forever
Posted on 03-27-2006 | 7 Comments

I've suffered from acne in the past and I have tried both Accutane and Retin-A with little to no luck. I've even tried the mock-off Walmart imitation products with limitted results. I discovered ProActiv about a year ago and it is working wonders (even on my shoulders)! I highly recommend it! Matty http://www.CureAcneForever.com
