How do you deal with this ??!!
Posted on 08-12-2003 | 8 Comments

My face has broken out pretty badly this week in a cluster an inch or so below my cheek bone. This has been happening repeatedly on the right side of my face only ! The left side has been MUCH better for months now. Of course I had a dental appointment yesterday and my skin was at it's worst in months for this occasion. Nothing like bright lights on your face and people working within inches of it to make you feel self conscious !!! I almost considered canceling the appointment but then I'd...

People are complimenting me on my skin!
Posted on 08-06-2003 | 12 Comments

Wow, I can't believe this. I've been on Klear Action and Pantethine for little over a week now, and I think it's mainly the Klear Action that's done it, but people have started complimenting me! First my girlfriend saw me after a few day's apart and said, "You're face looks really buff!". Then I was with friends and one of them looked at me, did a double-take, and said, "What've you had done?! You look younger!", then everyone else went, "Yeah!". :D :D :D

Maybe I notice complexions more as a result of struggling with my own... but have you ever noticed this?...... be talking to people riddled by diseases of all sorts.... and their skin will be beautiful; no indication whatsoever that there is anything wrong within. Don't get me wrong... I wouldn't trade places b/c even though my face has "activity" and "shadows" from scarring, when I start to feel sorry for

Please advise on accutane dosages

I am fully aware that accutane has many potential risks, but I am willing to take those chances and self-administer the drug because I can not afford a dermatologist at this time. Could someone advise me on the safest way to do this?

Can B5 cause fatigue and headaches?
Posted on 07-18-2003 | 9 Comments

Hi, I've been taking between 1.5grams and 2 grams of B5 for about 2-3 weeks now. I'm noticing that my sleep is disrupted, I am terribly fatigued during the day, and I'm getting headaches. I wonder if it could B5. I doubt it because I'm taking such a low dose as opposed to the 10 grams that some people take. I'm NOT taking a B-Complex in addition to the B5. Could the B5 without the Complex be leading to these side effects?

Important B5 Info
Posted on 07-18-2003 | 6 Comments

I've just read the Leung B5 study (http://www.kerots.com/forskning.htm) and I've noticed something that has, to my knowledge, never been pointed out about it before. It specifically states "Preliminary studies by the author suggest that together with pantothenic acid, biotin as well as nicotinamide help to further improve the therapeutic results. By themselves alone they are far less effective in helping acne patients than with pantothenic acid". It also goes on to say "there are reports...

hi folks do you think drinking non-sweet sunrise soy milk would help to prevent acne. If not, what about hormo milk?

Why can't we take Coenzyme A instead of B5?
Posted on 07-12-2003 | 6 Comments

I note at http://www.coenzyme-a.com/acne_vulgaris.html that Coenzyme A is the primary deficiency that may cause acne in some. They recommend we take B5 to create Coenzyme A. However my health store sells Coenzyme A capsules. Why don't we just take those instead? :-S
