Hi all, I used doxycycline over the Christmas period to help control breakouts. It works beautifully, but I had some strange side effects. Hi Everyone. Last week I went to a new Dermatologist and she put me on Amoxicillin. I've been on Tetracycline and Minocycline before and I told her they didn't do anything for me. I started taking B5 2 weeks ago (only 3g). My face is completely clear now. I even ran out of clindamycin this weekend...but nothing bad happened! Usually, my face would have been out of control without all my meds. I hope this lasts, and that they don't find out about any side effects :)

For a while now I've had blackheads in the inside of my ear. Right next to the opening, pretty visible. They have been there for months, and they aren't going away on their own. my face is not bright red but instead a dull red color. I have large pores on my cheaks and forehead that produce oil all day and contain blackheads. I used to have a bright red face due to over washing and ignorance. Now im using a combination of Cetaphil soaps that are very gentle. The redness is now dull but i want to start taking vitamins. I have just had five smoothbeam procedures. I am now trying another laser called Syneron Aurora. On a fluke, I won a 200 dollar gift certificate to another laser center, so I thought I'd give it a try. The doctor that prescribed the smoothbeam mentioned microderm as an option after the laser. I have a problem with a flush face. I guess it is rosacea. At least, that's what a few doctors have told me. I have noticed when I smoking my face is flush in photos.
