- Major over production of oil
- Posted by X3thumbz
I've got severely clogged pores on my nose and under my eyes. We're talking
major here. I've never seen anything this bad on anyone. I'm 25/m and it's
gotten progressively worse over the last few years. In fact, I'm pretty hideous
looking now. I've got all these large dark clogged pores, and I'm sure people
think they are blackhead's and that I don't wash my face at all.
I've tried washing multiple times per day for many days in a row and it doesn't
help. They just get clogged no matter what. I can take my fingernail and
squeeze the pore clean, and within like an hour there's more oil in there.
I've read a little about B5. I don't really have an acne problem, but acne is
caused by clogged pores. So could this help me?

My acne is now worse than ever too.
I thought acne were supposed to get better with time?
Anyway benzoyl peroxide works absolute wonders for my very oily skin.
It doesn't reduce oil production, perhaps even increasing it but after 2
months of use, pimples has decreased by 95%.

Are you using a moisturizer? You need to be using an oil free
moisturizer. If you have oily skin your skin may be over compensating
for lack of moisture.

I'm thinking of giving Nivea moisturizer for men a go. Saw an advert on
the TV that said it would help with oily skin.
Anybody tried it?

get the cleanser for acne from isocare, that's what ive been using. they
also have a sulphur mask and some kind of minty arctic thing. i don't
bother with the b5 thing anymore...i chalked it up to another hype. the
isocare products are way cool, though.
