b5 vitamin 250 or 100
Posted by nomoregoal

Hi i bought two bottles of b5 vitamins
They have both 100 pills inside.
But one hase written b5 100 the other b5 250.
The weight is the same.

Please can someone explain me the difference?

Has more b5 a pill of the 250 bottle or the 100 one?

I found B5 vitamin 100 and today a bought a new B5 bottle named B5 vitamin
250. I was taking the 100, but if it means that each caps has only 100 mg I
should have taken 50 pils per day! Wow!!! I've taken just 15. So from
tomorrow I'm starting to take 20 caps a day of the new b5 vitamin 250
version. I'll take: 4 caps in the morning, 3 caps at 10.00 AM 3 caps after
lunch, 3 caps at 15.00 3 caps at 19.00 and again 4 caps at night. So I'll
have 5 grams per day, that is not very much, because I could also arrive to
10gr. I guess manuy people make mistakes with dosage, because the B5 100
bottles hase less density, so if you have thos you have to take more pills.
I think no one has tryed to take 50 pills a day. Maybe the people with no
results took only 8 10 pills per day of the b5 100. This means they have
taken just 0,4 0,5 grams of b5 vitamin!!! That's not enough, maybe they had
a bad acne.. I'm sure it couldn't work..

Maybe this is a reason that explain why in certain case it hasn't worked.

For me it's working, and I've taken only 2 grams in the first days.

Right.

No, it's pretty clear. The study was done with 10 grams a day. If you
buy 100mg tablets, you take one hundred tablets per day. If you buy
1000mg tablets, you take ten per day.

People that do the research before purchasing know to buy the larger
dose, rather than take 100 pills per day.

Maybe the people with no
Mega B5 does not work for everyone. Some people gone so far as to take
15-20 grams (15000-20000 mg) per day, and still have acne.

B5 takes 1-6 weeks to start working.

But is not so clear because the label just say B5 100 or B5 250,
but it doesn't say b5 100 mg or B5 250 mg.

It just say then the numerb of pills inside: 100
and the weight: 54g 35g

Anyway if it's like you said, I paid the bottle 13 ?uro and 14 ?uro.
The difference is that 14?uro one is 2,5 times more concentrated per pill,
and it has 100 pills inside too.

So the 250 solution is the best one.

Is there any B5-500 mg per pill so that I can buy a bottle with 100 pills of
0.5 gr for each one?
It could be grat, I should only take 10 pills per day instead of 20 of the
b250 or 50 of the b100.

Do you suggest me to take a little zinc too?

P.S. It's only 4 days but is really working, my skin is not oily anymore.

The back doesn't have ingredient labelling??

Somewhere on the bottle, it should say what is inside it. I can't say
for certain that Europe requires that, but I can't believe they don't
have to list the amount of vitamin in it.

So the b5 100 weighs 35g? If there are 100 pills, that amounts to 0.350g
of something per pill. If the b5 250 weights 54g for a bottle of 100
tabs, then each tablet weighs 0.510 grams. (reverse those if the b 5 250
is the one that weighs 35, obviously)

Therefore, if this is true (big "if"), then
B5 100 pill contains 350mg of "stuff".
B5 250 contains 510mg of stuff.

It *could be* therefore that the b5 100 *does* contain 100mg of B5 and
250mg of junk filler.
And the b5 250 contains 250mg of b5 and 260mg of junk filler.

That is the math, anyway.
And very possible.
But usually when I've seen a B-250, it's for a combo of all the
b-vitamins. So that's why it's important to see the ingredients listed.

I would call the store and see if they can tell you what's in it. It's
making too many leaps and guesses, for me to feel safe saying the above
is for sure what is in the stuff you bought.

Pricing often is like that, only a couple dollars more for 3-4 times the
strength.

They make 1000mg (1gm) pills. Or you can buy the powder. But don't buy
any more generic labelled bottles, make sure the ingredients are listed.

If you are taking 20000 times the rdi, you need to research the
interactions and side effects and requirements, imo. It doesn't serve to
give half an answer and you not educate yourself fully about the
medication. Why do you think you need zinc? You need to be taking a
multi with ALL the other b's.

contains it.

The 250 bottle says: egumi, Cereali integrali, germe di grano, Magnesio
stearato vegetale, antiaggiomerante: silice colloidale. All toghether
ccontain calcio pantotenato (vit b.5)

The b5-100 bottles days: Estratto di crusca di riso B5, calcio pantotenato.

The strange thing is that if i smell the b5-100 bottle it has a more intense
smell of B5 than the 250 one.
Anyway I will try to contact both producer and try to understand the
difference. Also the saleman of the
herborist didn't knoew the real difference between those.

But also the saleman told me to take some multi other B's to compensate the
B5 megadose.
So I think I'm going to buy them.

the only thing i translate out of that is magnesium stearate (vegetable
source?), and colloidal silica? and the calcium pantothenate

what is that?

calcio pantotenato.
How do you know what b5 smells like?

If you open 2 different bottles you can find some smelling differences
