Is Anybody Interested In A Special ACNE DIET that helps them prevent ACNE
Posted by cdhinjan@blueyonder.co.uk

Hi everyone

Just wanted to ask if anyone suffereing with acne would be intersted in
a special acne diet and recipes that would help clear their acne and
prevent or limit it in the future. Or is there anybody out there who
already knows of a specific diet or certain recipes that are good for
acne?

Please let me know of what you think or already know?
Many thanks

Sonny

Diet and acne generally are not related.

I wont argue that diet and acne are related in some people. But it's
highlu unlikely that anyone will ever discover a "special acne diet" to
help prevent acne.

Insofar as food goes it's probably best to keep a

which will exacerbate acne.
Avoid the sun as much as possible. You will find
that as you get older (especially if your skin is
light) that you will experience Rosacea onset.
My doctor also mentioned to avoid weather
extremes. Where I live it's extremely cold
in the winter and humid and warm in the
summer. I try to keep cool in the summer
and in the winter when I go out for walks
cover my face with a scarf or face mask,
it helps.

Hi

Is it possible to "prevent" acne? I thought that acne was due to
excess sebum production thankful to our endocrine system. The part of
our body that releases hormones. If we eat a high volume of
carbohydrates + sugars, doesn't this lead to excess release of the
hormone insulin. And since insulin is a hormone, this propagates sebum
production. And somebody told me that sebum is produced by hormones
such as insulin due to having a bad diet. They said that an unbalanced
diet or an excessive diet leads to malfunction of the alimentary (even
if it is to a small degree), and in turn leads to sebum production as
i've mentioned above. Does anyone agree. After all, isn't this why
supermodels have an immaculate complexion?
