How long does the break out period for Accutane last? 1 week or 2 weeks??
Isn't Accutane supposed to make acne better? So why does it have to get worse
first? Doesn't make any sense........Sounds kinda fucked up. And but
specifically what's the average that the break out for Accutane will last, and
what can you do to stop the break out period once it's already started......

Everyone is different... some don't have the
"breakout period". Have you started it yet?
Pardon my asking, but have you asked your
dermatologist any of these Accutane questions?

My breakout period lasted 4-5 weeks!
I didn't put anything on my face whilst on that stuff. Just mild soap and
water. You might could stop it, but *I* wouldn't try....

there's no fuckin way I'm gonna wait 3 to 4 more weeks of a break out period.
that's just fuckin crazy. since the break out has lasted about a week now, it
better go away in a few days from now. doesn't make any fuckin sense though
why accutane would make a person's acne worse before it gets better since
accutane is supposed to get rid of your acne........

my favorite way to avoid the initial breakout is to use unmixed benzaclin for a
while first and then add low dose accutane. there is no break out this way.

when I called the office and the receptionist asked my derm for me, he said the
same thing to wait 3 months after you stop accutane to get a tattoo or a
piercing.. How did you know it's 3 months after you stop accutane. And is 5 or
6 weeks after you finish taking Accutane really too early to get a tattoo?
It's this vacation shit you know. I believe I"m going on vacation on June, and
wanted my gf and relatives to see this 4th tattoo....so that's why I'm asking
if 5 to 6 weeks after you finish taking Accutane is really too early to get a
tattoo?

finished 2nd week here.....that's a long 14 days we're talking about....haven't
seen signs of improvement yet? it just got worse about 6 days after starting
it. that's that break out shit which doesn't make any sense to me. why the
hell would that shit happen in the first place since accutane is supposed to
clear up acne. but anyways you said it will get better.....well for me since
you know what I"ve told you....when exactly for me should I see the damn
improvement that I've been waiting for?

well seems a little to late for that now since I'm at the start of week 3 here.

save the money you'd spend on your piercing and tatoo and use it to buy some
valium. you need to chill out here.
